Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) ground chicken
- 250 ml (1 cup) shrimp, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) ginger, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) chives, snipped
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) coriander leaves
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) sesame oil
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Sambal Oelek sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 24 dumpling noodles, round or square
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) canola oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the meat, shrimp, soy sauce, ginger, chives, coriander, sesame oil and hot sauce.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each dumpling sheet.
- Lightly moisten the edges of the dumpling sheets, close and stick the edges together.
- In a hot skillet over medium heat, sear the dumplings for 3 to 4 minutes on one side.
- Add 60 ml (4 tbsp.) water, cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
