Braised Pork Nachos

Nachos au porc braisé

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of braised pork shoulder
  • 250 ml (1 cup) BBQ sauce
  • 1 bag of corn tortillas (nachos)
  • 500 ml (2 cups) grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) hot and sour sauce
  • Sour cream (optional)

Preparation

  1. Heat the braised pork bag in a pot of boiling water according to directions.
  2. Shred the meat and mix it with the BBQ sauce.
  3. On a baking sheet, spread the nachos, then add the pulled pork, red onion and grated cheese.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  5. When removed from the oven, add the jalapeño slices and drizzle with hot and sour sauce.
  6. Serve immediately with optional sour cream.
