Creamy pasta with salmon cubes and smoked salmon

Pâtes crémeuses aux cubes de saumon et saumon fumé

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
  • 250 g of pasta (fusilli, penne or tagliatelle)
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of 35% or 15% cooking cream
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) of olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of honey
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add chopped shallot and garlic and sauté until lightly browned.
  3. Empty the tube of Salmon Duo into the pan and add lemon juice, honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
  4. Add 125 ml (1/2 cup) cooking cream, 125 ml (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well to form a smooth sauce.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss until pasta is well coated with sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve creamy pasta immediately, sprinkled with fresh parsley.
