Ingredients
- 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
- 250 g of pasta (fusilli, penne or tagliatelle)
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of 35% or 15% cooking cream
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) of olive oil
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of lemon juice
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of honey
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan cheese
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add chopped shallot and garlic and sauté until lightly browned.
- Empty the tube of Salmon Duo into the pan and add lemon juice, honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
- Add 125 ml (1/2 cup) cooking cream, 125 ml (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well to form a smooth sauce.
- Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss until pasta is well coated with sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve creamy pasta immediately, sprinkled with fresh parsley.
