ZEUS PIZZA
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : about 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 Mediterranean Roma sausages
- 4 Greek pita breads
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper, julienned
- 120 ml (8 tbsp.) olive oil
- 1 cucumber, brunoise
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) mint leaves, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) dill sprigs, chopped
- 12 to 16 green or black olives, halved
- 1 lemon, juice
- 90 ml (6 tbsp.) Tzatziki sauce
- 1 piece goat's cheese (firm paste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat barbecue to maximum
- Cut sausages in half lengthwise.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Turn off the burner(s) on one side of the barbecue and continue cooking for 5 minutes, indirectly, with the lid closed.
- Meanwhile, on a barbecue mat, grill the onion and bell pepper for 5 minutes, coated with one or two tablespoons of olive oil and a little salt and pepper.
- Brush both sides of each pita with olive oil and toast over direct heat, 30 to 45 seconds.
- In a bowl, combine cucumber, mint, dill, bell pepper, onion, olives, salt, pepper, olive oil and lemon juice. Check seasoning.
- Place the Tzatziki sauce, grilled sausages, cucumber salad and a few shavings of goat's cheese on each pita.
