Ingredients
- 1 can Chic! wine fondue or Chic! Beer Fondue from 1001 Fondues
- 2 potatoes, sliced
- 4 apples, cored and peeled
- 8 to 12 slices bacon
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) walnuts, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 180°C (350°F).
- In a baking dish, make 4 rosettes of potato slices, season with salt and pepper.
- Wrap each potato with bacon slices, leaving the top hole open.
- Remove the fondue cheese mixture from the bag, cut into small cubes and place in the hole in each apple.
- Place an apple in the center of each potato rosette.
- Sprinkle a few walnuts over the top of each apple and bake for 30 minutes.
