Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cooking cream
- 500 ml (2 cups) tomato sauce (homemade or canned)
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 30 g (1/4 cup) grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until golden.
- Add tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cream until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add Parmesan cheese if desired.
- This sauce is perfect with pasta or ravioli.
