Ingredients
- 380 g chicken meatballs with tomato basil sauce (sous vide)
- 125 g (1/2 cup) small pasta (such as orzo)
- 1.5 liters (6 cups) chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (to taste)
- 1 handful fresh basil, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese, to garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan. Add chicken meatballs, sauce, small pasta, maple syrup and hot sauce to the saucepan.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and meatballs are heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and grated parmesan.
