Salmon tartare with pineapple and coriander

Tartare de saumon à l'ananas et coriandre

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of 130 g cubed salmon
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) pineapple, finely diced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lime juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 chili pepper, finely chopped (to taste)
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preparing the salmon: Empty the contents of the tube of cubed salmon into a bowl.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: In the bowl with the salmon, add the pineapple, coriander, lime juice, red onions, chili pepper and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix to coat the salmon with all the ingredients.
  3. Serving: Serve the salmon tartare very fresh, accompanied by corn chips for a crunchy texture. You can also present it with a romaine lettuce salad for a touch of freshness.
