Ingredients
- 680g ready-made mashed potatoes
- 200g smoked salmon, cut into pieces
- 2 eggs
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 125ml (1/2 cup) cooking cream (or cream cheese)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried dill)
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a hot frying pan over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil for 5 minutes, until softened. Remove from the heat.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, eggs, cooking cream (or cream cheese), dill, and cooked onion-garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the smoked salmon pieces and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a terrine mold or gratin dish.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C, until the terrine is set and golden brown.
