  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a hot frying pan over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil for 5 minutes, until softened. Remove from the heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, eggs, cooking cream (or cream cheese), dill, and cooked onion-garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the smoked salmon pieces and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a terrine mold or gratin dish.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C, until the terrine is set and golden brown.
