Lemon and c pres chicken kebab

LEMON AND C PRES CHICKEN SKEWER

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) capers, chopped
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) maple syrup
  • 2 sprigs thyme, leaves removed
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 lemons, juice
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) olive oil
  • 600 g (20 ½ oz) Québec chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the BBQ to maximum.
  2. In a bowl, combine capers, maple syrup, thyme, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil.
  3. Keep the squeezed lemon halves and cut them into pieces for the skewers.
  4. Add the chicken cubes and marinate for 5 minutes.
  5. Make skewers by alternating chicken, red bell pepper, onion and lemon pieces.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and sear for 2 minutes on each side, then cook indirectly for 5 to 6 minutes or more, depending on the size of the chicken cubes.
  7. Remove from the BBQ, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and enjoy.
