GRILLED ONION, HERB CHICKEN AND SOUR CREAM PIZZA AT BBQ
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 12 to 16 minutes
Ingredients
- 8 onions, thickly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 pinches herbes de Provence
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) honey
- 120 ml (8 tbsp.) olive oil
- 2 Québec chicken breasts
- 4 pizza dough balls
- 250 ml (1 cup) sour cream
- 250 ml (1 cup) mozzarella, grated
- 18 cherry tomatoes, quartered
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden picks
Preparation
- Preheat the BBQ to maximum.
- Thread all the onion rings onto the appropriate number of wooden skewers.
- In a bowl, mix garlic, herbes de Provence, honey, oil, salt and pepper.
- Brush the onion rings with the mixture.
- Grill the onion skewers on the BBQ grill for 4 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, cut the chicken breasts in half. Season with salt and pepper.
- On the BBQ grill, cook the chicken breasts for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, lay out the pizza dough on the work surface.
- Place the pizza dough on the BBQ grill and let it cook for about 1 minute on each side.
- Meanwhile, cut the chicken into thin slices.
- Divide the sour cream, onions, chicken, cheese and tomatoes between the doughs.
- Place the pizzas back on the BBQ grill, cooking indirectly (burner off under the pizzas), lid closed, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
