Scandinavian pizza at the bbq

SCANDINAVIAN BBQ PIZZA

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 homemade or store-bought pizza dough
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) sour cream
  • 250 ml (1 cup) smoked salmon, coarsely chopped
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) capers
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 sprigs dill, leaves removed, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the BBQ to maximum.
  2. Roll out dough to ¼ inch thickness. Lightly flour the dough.
  3. Place the dough directly on the BBQ grill and cook for about 1 minute. Turn over and cook for a further 1 minute.
  4. Remove the dough from the BBQ and garnish with sour cream, salmon, capers and onion. Sprinkle dill and lemon zest over the top. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the pizza back on the BBQ grill over indirect heat, close the lid and cook for around 5 minutes.
