Big JOHN Burger
Portions : 8 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking : 5 to 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Shriracha hot sauce
- 120 ml (8 tablespoons) maple syrup
- 120 ml (8 tbsp.) mayonnaise
- 800 gr (27 oz) medium-lean ground beef
- 8 burger buns
- 8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
- 16 slices bacon, crisp
- 120 ml (8 tbsp) caramelized onions in maple syrup
- 125 ml (½ cup) blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 8 lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine Shriracha hot sauce, maple syrup and mayonnaise. Set aside
- Preheat BBQ to high.
- Shape into 8 beef patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- On the BBQ grill, using direct cooking, sear the patties on each side.
- a few minutes of indirect cooking.
- At the end of cooking, place the slices of cheddar cheese on top of the patties.
- Heat the buns.
- Spread the mayonnaise on both sides of each bun, then spread the blue cheese, caramelized onions
