Burger big John

Big JOHN Burger

Portions : 8 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking : 5 to 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Shriracha hot sauce
  • 120 ml (8 tablespoons) maple syrup
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp.) mayonnaise
  • 800 gr (27 oz) medium-lean ground beef
  • 8 burger buns
  • 8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 16 slices bacon, crisp
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp) caramelized onions in maple syrup
  • 125 ml (½ cup) blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 8 lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine Shriracha hot sauce, maple syrup and mayonnaise. Set aside
  2. Preheat BBQ to high.
  3. Shape into 8 beef patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. On the BBQ grill, using direct cooking, sear the patties on each side.
  5. a few minutes of indirect cooking.
  6. At the end of cooking, place the slices of cheddar cheese on top of the patties.
  7. Heat the buns.
  8. Spread the mayonnaise on both sides of each bun, then spread the blue cheese, caramelized onions
  9. onions, a meat patty, 2 slices of bacon, a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and close
  10. and close each loaf.
