Bacon cake

CAKE AU BACON
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 20 to 25 minutes

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml (½ cup) milk
  • 375 ml (1 ½ cups) flour
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) baking powder (baking powder)
  • 125 ml (½ cup) butter, melted
  • 250 ml (1 cup) mozzarella, grated
  • ½ bunch chives, chopped
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp, chopped Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Whisk eggs and milk in a bowl. Stir in flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the melted butter, mozzarella, bacon and chives.
  4. Pour the mixture into a cake tin lined with butter and flour, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool before unmolding.
