Crispy and thin cookie (white sugar, long cooking)

Cookie croustillant et fin (sucre blanc, cuisson prolongée)

Ingredients

  • 250 g (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 125 g (1/2 cup) soft butter
  • 150 g (3/4 cup) white sugar
  • 50 g (1/4 cup) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g (1 cup) chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Cream the soft butter with the white sugar and a small amount of brown sugar.
  2. Add egg and vanilla, then stir in dry ingredients.
  3. Add chocolate chips.
  4. Roll out cookies slightly thinner than usual and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 14-16 minutes for a crisp, flatter result.
