Ingredients
- 250 g (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
- 125 g (1/2 cup) melted butter
- 150 g (3/4 cup) brown sugar
- 50 g (1/4 cup) white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g (1 cup) chocolate chips
Preparation
- Melt butter and allow to cool slightly.
- Mix with sugars until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla, then stir in dry ingredients.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes before forming cookies. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes.
- The melted butter gives a denser, more melt-in-the-mouth texture in the center.
