Crostini with smoked salmon and marinated salmon cubes

Crostinis au saumon fumé et cubes de saumon marinés

Cooking time: 5 minutes (to toast the bread)

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
  • 8 slices of country bread, toasted
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) white balsamic vinegar
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) capers, drained
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh basil, chopped
  • 125 g (1/2 cup) cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the fresh salmon from the tube with the white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, capers and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Toast the slices of country bread.
  3. Spread each slice of toast with cream cheese.
  4. Then place the marinated salmon mixture on each slice of toasted bread. Add a few pieces of smoked salmon from the tube on top.
  5. Serve immediately.
