Ingredients
- 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
- 8 slices of country bread, toasted
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) white balsamic vinegar
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) capers, drained
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh basil, chopped
- 125 g (1/2 cup) cream cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the fresh salmon from the tube with the white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, capers and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Toast the slices of country bread.
- Spread each slice of toast with cream cheese.
- Then place the marinated salmon mixture on each slice of toasted bread. Add a few pieces of smoked salmon from the tube on top.
- Serve immediately.
