Servings: 4 mini burgers
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 380 g pork meatballs in hamburger steak sauce (sous vide)
- 4 to 5 slices of orange cheese (cheddar or other)
- 8 to 12 mini burger buns
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) garlic butter
- Ketchup
- Condiments of your choice (pickles, mustard, etc.)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Open the bag of pork meatballs and pour the contents (meatballs and sauce) into the skillet. Simmer over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the sauce has reduced and thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- When the sauce is well reduced, place 4 to 5 slices of orange cheese on top of the meatballs and cover the skillet. Let the cheese melt for 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, butter the mini burger buns with the garlic butter. Lightly toast the buns in a pan or in the oven until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once the cheese is melted, top each mini burger bun with a little ketchup, add a few pork balls covered in cheese, then close the bun.
- Serve with condiments and sauces of your choice (pickles, mustard, etc.).
