Meatloaf pie

Ingredients

Meatloaf

125 ml (1/2 cup) cooked rice

250 gr (9 oz) ground beef

250 gr (9 oz) Quebec pork, ground

1 egg

15 ml (1 tbsp) honey

15 ml (1 tbsp) horseradish

15 ml (1 tbsp) savory, ground

15 ml (1 tbsp) sage, ground

15 ml (1 tbsp) thyme, ground

5 ml (1 tsp) nutmeg, grated

5 ml (1 tsp) cinnamon, ground

5 ml (1 tsp) cloves, ground

120 ml (8 tbsp) ketchup

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat the oven, rack in the center at 190 °C (375 °F).

In a bowl, mix the rice, beef, pork, egg, honey, horseradish, savory, sage, thyme, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, salt and pepper.

In a cake pan, place the prepared mixture, cover with ketchup and bake for 45 minutes.
