Chocolate Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of oatmeal
  • 3 cups of puffed rice
  • 1 cup crushed almonds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 3 pinches of fine salt
  • 2 cups crushed dried bananas
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the dried bananas and dark chocolate chips.
  3. Spread the granola mixture in a baking dish in an even layer.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  5. Once cooked, remove the granola from the oven and let it cool.
  6. Add the dried bananas and dark chocolate chips and mix well.
  7. Store in an airtight jar or container. Granola can be stored in the pantry for several weeks.
