Chicken parmentier

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and cook potatoes in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, until tender.
  3. Drain potatoes, then mash with cream and butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Shred the simmering chicken and arrange in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  5. Cover with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
