Ingredients
- 400 g simmered chicken (sweet mustard & maple syrup)
- 4 medium potatoes
- 105 ml (7 tbsp.) 35% cooking cream
- 45 ml (3 tbsp.) butter
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) grated cheese (Emmental or Gruyère)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and cook potatoes in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, until tender.
- Drain potatoes, then mash with cream and butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Shred the simmering chicken and arrange in the bottom of a casserole dish.
- Cover with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
