Ingredients
- 500g shredded beef (pre-cooked)
- 680g ready-made mashed potatoes
- 125ml (1/2 cup) char siu sauce
- 300g chopped bok choy (Chinese cabbage)
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
- Salt, pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- In a hot frying pan over medium heat, heat sesame oil (or olive oil). Add bok choy, chopped onion and garlic, then stir-fry for about 5 to 7 minutes, until vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded beef with the char siu sauce.
- In a baking dish, spread the shredded beef with the char siu sauce in an even layer. Add the sautéed bok choy in a second layer. Cover everything with the mashed potatoes.
- Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes, until the top is lightly browned.
