Ingredients
- 420 g ginger and soy pork stew (vacuum-packed)
- 800 g French fries (frozen or homemade)
- 250 ml (1 cup) cheese curds
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) hot sauce (optional)
- Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
- Salt to season fries
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook fries according to instructions (in oven or deep fryer) until golden brown and crisp. Immediately salt the fries while they are still hot.
- Meanwhile, reheat the pork stew in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Assemble poutine: divide fries among plates, add cheese curds on top of hot fries, then arrange pork stew on top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and add hot sauce to taste.
- Serve immediately.
