Ingredients
- 1 ready-to-use shortcrust pastry
- 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
- 3 eggs
- 250 ml (1 cup) of 15% or 35% cooking cream
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of grated cheese (Gruyere or Cheddar)
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of Dijon mustard
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of fresh dill, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the shortcrust pastry in a pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, cooking cream, Dijon mustard, shallot, grated cheese, and chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper.
- Empty the tube of Salmon Duo into the mixture, and stir gently to incorporate the fresh and smoked salmon cubes.
- Pour the mixture over the shortcrust pastry.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is golden brown and cooked in the center.
- Let cool before serving.
