Red cabbage, carrot and sesame seed salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 red cabbage, thinly sliced ​​(about 4 cups)
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) toasted sesame seeds
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) rice vinegar
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) sesame oil
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix red cabbage and carrots in a salad bowl.
  2. Prepare the vinaigrette with rice vinegar, sesame oil, and soy sauce, then season.
  3. Pour the vinaigrette over the vegetables, toss.
  4. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
