Green bean salad with flaked almonds and lemon vinaigrette

Salade de haricots verts, amandes effilées et vinaigrette au citron

Ingredients

  • 300 g green beans, cooked and cooled (about 2 cups)
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a salad bowl, toss the green beans with the slivered almonds.
  2. Prepare the vinaigrette by mixing the lemon juice, zest, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the vinaigrette over the green beans, toss and serve.
