Salad of young shoots, pears and walnuts

Salade de jeunes pousses, poires et noix de Grenoble

Ingredients

  • 100 g young shoots (about 4 cups)
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) walnuts, roughly chopped

For the dressing

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) cider vinegar
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) walnut oil
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the young shoots, pear slices and walnuts in a salad bowl.
  2. Make the dressing by mixing the cider vinegar, walnut oil, honey, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad, toss gently and serve.
