Lamb's lettuce salad with apples, celery and maple vinaigrette

Salade de mâche aux pommes, céleri et vinaigrette à l'érable

Ingredients

  • 150 g lamb's lettuce (about 4 cups)
  • 1 green apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) toasted pecans

For the dressing

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) cider vinegar
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) walnut or olive oil
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix lamb's lettuce, apple, celery and walnuts in a salad bowl.
  2. Prepare the dressing by mixing maple syrup, mustard, vinegar and oil.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss.
