Smoked salmon, pastrami and avocado salad

Salade de saumon fumé pastrami et avocat

Ingredients

  • 1 100 g package smoked pastrami salmon
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) red onion, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) capers, drained
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 handfuls fresh arugula

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine avocado, red onion, capers, olive oil and lemon juice.
  2. Add the sliced pastrami smoked salmon and crumbled feta cheese.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss gently to coat the ingredients.
  5. Serve the salad on a bed of arugula.
