Spinach, strawberry and balsamic vinaigrette salad

Salade d'épinards, fraises et vinaigrette balsamique

Ingredients

  • 150 g baby spinach leaves (about 4 cups)
  • 200 g strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) walnuts, toasted
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) goat cheese or feta, crumbled

For the dressing

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) balsamic vinegar
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the spinach, strawberries, walnuts and cheese in a salad bowl.
  2. Prepare the dressing with the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad, toss and serve immediately.
