Ingredients
- 400 g simmered chicken (sweet mustard & maple syrup)
- 1.5 liters (6 cups) chicken broth
- 500 ml (2 cups) noodles (vermicelli or small noodles)
- 1 carrot, brunoise-cut (small dice)
- 1 leek, sliced
- 1 celery stalk, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation
- Heat the chicken stock in a large saucepan.
- Add the carrot, leek and celery to the broth and cook for about 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the noodles and shredded chicken, then simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, until the noodles are cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
