Asian-style soup meal

ASIAN MEAL SOUP

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 package very thin rice noodles
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) mushrooms, cubed
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) broccoli, cut into small pieces
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) red bell pepper, julienned
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) carrot, julienned
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) garlic, minced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) ginger, chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) sesame oil
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) fish sauce
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) green onion, chopped
  • 200 g (7 oz) cooked protein of your choice (shrimp, chicken, tofu)
  • Hot sauce to taste

Preparation

  1. Divide ingredients evenly among 4 containers.
  2. At mealtime, pour a volume of boiling water over the ingredients.
  3. Wait 5 minutes for the ingredients to cook before serving.
  4. Check seasoning, stir and enjoy.
