Salmon duo tartare with capers, dill and green apple

Tartare de duo de saumon aux câpres, aneth et pomme verte

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of Salmon Duo (fresh salmon and smoked salmon)
  • 1/2 green apple, diced (small cubes)
  • 1 tbsp. capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 tbsp. fresh dill, chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Empty the tube of Salmon Duo into a bowl. Add the diced green apple, chopped capers, chopped dill, red onion, lemon juice and olive oil.
  2. Add the mayonnaise and mix well to coat all the ingredients.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently one last time.
  4. Let rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  5. Serve chilled with toast, crackers or as a starter on a bed of salad.
