Salmon tartare with basil and sun-dried tomatoes

Tartare de saumon au basilic et tomates séchées

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of salmon cubes, 130 g
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) finely chopped fresh basil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lemon juice
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preparing the salmon: Empty the contents of the tube of salmon cubes into a bowl.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: In the bowl containing the salmon, add the sun-dried tomatoes, basil, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix to coat the salmon with all the ingredients.
  3. Serving: Serve the salmon tartare very fresh, accompanied by slices of toasted baguette for a crispy texture. You can also present it with a rocket salad for a touch of freshness.
