Salmon tartare with fennel and orange

Tartare de saumon au fenouil et orange

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of 130 g cubed salmon
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) fennel, thinly sliced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) orange segments
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lemon juice
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preparing the salmon : Empty the contents of the tube of cubed salmon into a bowl.
  • Mixing the ingredients : In the bowl with the salmon, add the fennel, orange segments, dill, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix to coat the salmon with all the ingredients.
  • Serving : Serve the salmon tartare very fresh, accompanied by slices of toasted bread for a crispy texture. You can also present it with a fennel and orange salad for a touch of freshness.
