Tuna tartare with avocado and lime

Tartare de thon à l'avocat et citron vert

Ingredients

  • 130 g fresh tuna, finely diced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) avocado, finely diced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lime juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) coriander, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) red onion, finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preparing the tuna: Place the tuna cubes in a bowl.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: In the bowl with the tuna, add the avocado, lime juice, coriander, red onion and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently to coat the tuna with all the ingredients.
  3. Serving: Serve the tuna tartare very fresh, accompanied by tortilla chips for a crunchy texture. You can also present it with a tomato salad for a touch of freshness.
