Tuna tartare with fennel and orange

Tartare de thon au fenouil et orange

Ingredients

  • 130 g fresh tuna, finely diced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) fennel, finely sliced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) orange segments
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lemon juice
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preparing the tuna: Place the tuna cubes in a bowl.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: In the bowl with the tuna, add the fennel, orange segments, dill, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently to coat the tuna with all the ingredients.
  3. Serving: Serve the tuna tartare very fresh, accompanied by slices of toasted bread for a crispy texture. You can also present it with a fennel and orange salad for a touch of freshness.
