CHICKEN SKEWERS WITH SESAME AND CHILLI

Ingredients
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) Hoisin sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) sesame oil
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) canola oil
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) Sambal Oelek hot sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) peanut butter
- 400 g (13 1/2 oz.) Québec chicken breast cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) peanuts, crushed
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) fresh coriander, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) sesame seeds
Preparation
- Preheat BBQ to maximum.
- In a bowl, combine Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, canola oil, hot sauce and peanut butter.
- Add and coat chicken cubes with prepared sauce.
- Make small skewers, alternating chicken and red bell pepper.
- Place skewers on BBQ grill and cook for 2 minutes on each side, depending on the size of the chicken cubes.
- Sprinkle skewers with peanuts, fresh coriander and sesame seeds.
