Spicy prawns and pineapple

SPICY SHRIMP AND PINEAPPLE

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 4 to 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) Cajun spice blend
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) smoked paprika
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 1 lime, juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 ml (1/2 tsp.) Sriracha hot sauce
  • 16 shrimp 16/20, peeled, tails on
  • 16 pineapple cubes, 1 "x1
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 small wooden skewers

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine Cajun spices, paprika, oil, lime juice, honey, garlic and hot sauce.
  2. Add shrimp, salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  3. In a skillet or on the BBQ, over high heat, grill shrimp for 2 minutes on each side.
  4. On each skewer, place a shrimp and a pineapple cube.
