Apple fries

APPLE FRIES

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 crisp apples, peeled and cut into 8 pieces
  • 250 ml (1 cup) flour
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) brown sugar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) herbes de Provence blend
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) garlic powder
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) onion powder
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Qs: Oil spray or brush-on oil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat AirFryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, Provençal herbs, garlic powder, onion powder and a little salt and pepper.
  3. Coat each piece of apple with the mixture.
  4. Dip each apple piece in the beaten eggs, then coat again with the dry mixture.
  5. Place the apple pieces in the hot AirFryer, add a little oil spray or brush with a little oil and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Then turn over and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with cheese.
