Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) sugar
- 375 ml (1 ½ cups) milk
- 1 lemon, zest
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 250 ml (1 cup) Corn Flakes cereal
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped hazelnuts
- 4 to 6 slices brioche bread
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) butter
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) Nutella
Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, lemon zest, vanilla and pinch of salt.
- In a bowl, crush the cereal into coarse crumbs.
- Add the hazelnuts and mix.
- Dip each bread cube in the egg-milk mixture, then coat with the prepared breadcrumbs.
- In a hot frying pan, brown the 4 sides of the bread in the melted butter, about 2 minutes on each side.
- Spread the Nutella on each slice of bread and serve, accompanied by berries.
