Ingredients
- 420 g beef bourguignon (vacuum-packed)
- 800 g French fries (frozen or homemade)
- 500 ml (2 cups) cheese curds
- Salt to season fries
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook fries according to instructions (in oven or deep fryer) until golden brown and crisp. Immediately salt the fries while they are still hot.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to the boil. Dip the vacuum-packed bag containing the boeuf bourguignon into the boiling water and leave to heat for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Remove the bag from the water, open and pour the beef bourguignon (with all its juices) into a bowl.
- Assemble the poutine: divide the fries between plates, add the cheese curds on top of the hot fries, then arrange the boeuf bourguignon (with juice) on top.
- Serve immediately.
