Salad of old tomatoes, mozzarella and basil

Salade de tomates anciennes, mozzarella et basilic

Ingredients

  • 4 heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • 150 g mozzarella, sliced ​​(about 1 cup)
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) chopped fresh basil

For the dressing

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) balsamic vinegar
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving platter.
  2. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
  3. Make the dressing by mixing the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the tomatoes and mozzarella and serve.
