GRILLED SALMON WITH BBQ AND PINK PEPPER
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 75 ml (5 tablespoons) honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) strong mustard
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) capers
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) white balsamic vinegar
- 45 ml (3 tbsp.) olive oil
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) pink peppercorns, cracked
- 1 salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cedar plank for BBQ, 20 minutes in water
Preparation
- Preheat the BBQ to maximum.
- In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, mustard, capers, vinegar, oil, pink pepper and salt. Check seasoning.
- Place salmon on cedar plank, cover with red onion rings and coat with prepared mixture.
- Place the plank on the BBQ grill, close the lid and cook for 20 minutes.
- Serve with a nice green salad and home fries.
