Grilled salmon with bbq and pink pepper

GRILLED SALMON WITH BBQ AND PINK PEPPER

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 75 ml (5 tablespoons) honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) strong mustard
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) capers
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) white balsamic vinegar
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) olive oil
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) pink peppercorns, cracked
  • 1 salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cedar plank for BBQ, 20 minutes in water

Preparation

  1. Preheat the BBQ to maximum.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, mustard, capers, vinegar, oil, pink pepper and salt. Check seasoning.
  3. Place salmon on cedar plank, cover with red onion rings and coat with prepared mixture.
  4. Place the plank on the BBQ grill, close the lid and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve with a nice green salad and home fries.
