Spicy chicken wings
Ingredients
- Honey - 6 tbsp.
- Cayenne pepper - ½ tsp.
- Paprika - ½ tsp.
- Coriander - 1 tsp.
- Chilli flakes - 1 tsp.
- Tabasco - 2 tsp.
- Garlic - 3 cloves - 1 tsp.
- Ginger - one piece
- Onion powder -
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Preparation
- Cut off the skin
- Scrape with spoon to remove skin - Reduces root loss
- Crush garlic with knife blade
- Finely chop garlic
- Mix remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl
- Place on a baking sheet
- Pour sauce over wings
- Line your baking sheet
- Refrigerate for 3 hours
- Bake at 400°C for 20 to 30 minutes
- Option: finish cooking on the broiler
Tips and tricks
- Reduce waste - spoon
- Use parchment paper or aluminum foil
- Spices: if you like your wings less spicy, reduce or remove the cayenne pepper and Tabasco. For spicy wing lovers, increase the quantities.
- Honey can be replaced by brown sugar, but your wings will be less saucy.
