KOREAN-STYLE CHICKEN SKEWER
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 6 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 Québec chicken breasts, cubed
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) ginger, grated
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) garlic cloves, minced
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) sesame oil
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) Hoisin sauce
- Skewers
Sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) honey
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) mint leaves, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) coriander leaves, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) canola oil
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) green onions, chopped
- 3 limes, juice
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) peanuts, crushed
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine ginger, garlic, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce and sesame oil. Add chicken cubes to coat with sauce.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- On a grill or ridged pan, grill the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until the meat is cooked.
- Meanwhile, mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Brush each cooked skewer with the sauce and serve.
