Chicken brochette with curry and yellow bell pepper

CHICKEN BROCHETTE WITH CURRY AND YELLOW BELL PEPPER

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 6 minutes

Ingredients

  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) yellow curry powder
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) 35% cream
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) honey
  • 600 g (20 ½ oz.) Québec chicken breast cubes
  • 2 yellow peppers, cut into large squares
  • 2 onions, cut into large cubes
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat BBQ to maximum.
  2. In a bowl, combine curry powder, cream, honey, salt and pepper. Add chicken cubes to coat. Marinate for 5 minutes.
  3. Make skewers, alternating chicken cubes, peppers and onions.
  4. Place skewers on BBQ grill and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh coriander before serving.
