GRILLED PORK CHOPS WITH OKA CHEESE AND MUSHROOMS
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking : 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 Québec pork chops, boneless
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) maple syrup
- 3 sprigs thyme, leaves removed
- 500 ml (2 cups) button mushrooms
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) 35% cream
- 12 thin slices Oka cheese
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a hot skillet, sear the pork chops, coated with Mycryo butter, or in the fat of your choice
- 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper, remove and set aside on a plate.
- In the same hot pan, sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes. Then add the garlic, syrup, thyme, mushrooms
- cream and Oka cheese. Check seasoning.
- Add the pork chops and simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
