Croissant pizza

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time : 20 to 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) pizza sauce
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 slices pepperoni or chorizo
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten with a little water

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on the work surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into triangles about 5” square.
  4. Divide the tomato sauce, cheese and cold cuts among the triangles.
  5. Roll up each triangle to form a crescent. Brush with egg yolk and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
