ITALIAN PUFF PASTRY
Portions : 4 to 6 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) homemade tomato sauce
- 3 pinches oregano
- Frank's RedHot hot sauce to taste
- 1 pure butter puff pastry (store-bought)
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200° C (400° F).
- In a bowl, combine tomato sauce, oregano and hot sauce. Check seasoning.
- On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the puff pastry.
- Spread the prepared sauce over half the pastry and fold the pastry over itself.
- Using a knife, cut 1" wide strips and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
